Weird one: Last night after doing a load, I transferred the load to the dryer. A few minutes later the washer started randomly adding water to an empty tub, even with the dial in the off position. it would run the water for 5-10 seconds, then wait ~20 seconds then add some more. (I didn't time it.) I pushed the dial in, and it still kept adding a bit of water every few seconds. I turned the dial around some, putit back in one of the three off positions, pulled it out and pushed back in, kept doing it. Put it on spin to drain the water, and I could hear it adding water every few seconds. Finally just shut off the water at the wall.

Ideas?

Thanks

Peter

Sounds like it's gotta be the electronic controls (circuit board? timer unit?) or one of the water valves themselves. Does this happen with only either hot or cold supplies? (<- lot cheaper to replace one of those!)
