i am replacing the rear outer drum on my duet i am having a problem getting the front and rear drum to to snap back together it is lined up one side will snap on and the other is not going down all the way any ideas

It should just fit together, rather easily and the clips then snap on. It may be that whatever caused you to have to replace the rear section damaged the front section, or that the new rear section you purchased in somehow defective.
