Washer worked fine all weekend. It was washing a load of towels and it just hums now. It sounds like it's coming from the front panel but I'm not positive. It doesn't spin, drain, anything but hum. When I pull the dial out to turn it on that seems looser than normal. Not trying to lead in that direction, but that's all I know right now. I will have to drain it in the morning and then tear it apart. Any suggestions?

Looks like motor burned out. It's stuck and won't spin. Pump was clear and will spin. Motor hums and is permanently locked up.

So, the motor shaft will not rotate with motor removed from washer? Very unusual but worth replacing if washer is otherwise in good shape.
