I've got a Beaumark washing machine (GE makes them in Canada). I've tracked the problem to the pressure switch/hose. I can blow into the hose to make the switch click and stop the water from filling, but when I reattach, the pressure from the water won't cause it to click. Any ideas? Is this a faulty pressure switch? Thanks

NOrmally this is a blockage in the hose and blowing it out should clear things and make the switch work.
Operate the machine with the front panel off and watch to see if water enters the tube. If not, the tube or where it connects may be the problem. If water is entering the tube it may not create enough pressure to trip the switch, in which case a new switch should fix the problem.
