Washer became severely out f balance during spin cycle due to heavy bed spread. Washer will not start. Door locks bt washer will not advance thru any cycles. Also what terminals on door switch do you check for continuity?

you said the washer won't start, but the door locks. this means it does start, but will not advance past the door lock. is there water in the unit, do you hear a humming noise, will it add water, will it drain water, does it stay locked or does the console flash a series of lights? need just a little more info to really help.

There does not seem to be any water in the unit. It starts to add water and then stops, it does not hum, the timer advances one minute and the shows E10 error or E50 error code
