Model Number: LLV7233AW0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
I can't figure out how to get the old broken dial and knob off my washer in order to replace with the one that arrived today from appliance parts pros. Help!? I have looked at the diagram, it is of no use to me. Does anyone know how to do this?

Dibvic..Pull the plug so there no power. Pull out the knob as if you were going to start the washer, try to get a small pair of needle nose behind the knob to hold the shaft. Then turn the knob counter clockwise while holding the shaft until knob is off. Then just put a straight screw driver behind the dial so that you can pop it off..good luck
