When my Frigidaire washer agates, the tub rotates slowly. The tub moves with the agatator when the agatator moves in one direction. I am assuming this means a brake needs replaced. Can this be done with this model or is this a transmission problem?

on these the braking mechanism is internal to the trans. unfortunately, the trans needs to be replaced.
