This washer has a 2 outlet valve....one for dispenser set up, one for tub fill. After cleaning the valve filters....both hot and cold.....due to no cold water entering tub, the new problem occurred.
The hot water is running thru the inlet valve because it is being dispersed to the dispenser valve and the dispensers are filling in with hot water.
The hot water is not exiting the tub fill hose (separate hose from the dispenser), only cold water.
1. Could the solenoid connections be attached incorrectly? There are 3 solenoid connections on the inlet valve.
2. If the valve is no good, can I replace it with a basic type that has no auxiliary hose outlet for dispensers? I do not want or use these auxiliary parts and purchasing the same inlet valve is very costly.
3. Would part # AP3098982 be ok to purchase instead?

The short unfortunate answer here is "I don't know".
All the solenoids are doing is opening and closing upon command from the control unit. I don't have a good idea of what this model looks like, but if you can hook the wires from the control unit to the solenoid correctly, and the machine doesn't need the other wiring or diversion to operate than it should work.
