I'm hoping someone would be able to help me with this problem! I need to change the lid switch h on my washer. I was able to get it apart and take out the old one, but now I can not get the new one to click in the right way and I've broken 2 already. I don't know what I'm doing wrong I've followed all the directions but it just will not click in. I've been trying to put in part 12001908 if that's helpful.

Please help before I rip my hair out! I've tried to install this for 4 hours today. :(
