My GE WBVH5200J0WW washing machine is starting to act up. Towards the end of the final rinse, it doesn't always drain the water. It will just stop and not do anything, the timer still showing some time remaining. Eventually (hours later), it will count down, not doing anything.

I checked the filter and drain pumps as best I could. They were all clear of major obstructions.

I put it in service mode and the most recent fault code is 31.

I ran t05, and it ran through, but it was making noises I don't normally hear. A "clacking" type of sound... sort of like plastic smacking plastic. Perhaps this was because there was no water in the pump?

All signs seem to point to a problem with the drain pump. But I'm no expert, so I ask you, the experts... Does this sound like a problem with the drain pump???

Thank you!
