My washer won't agitate or spin out. Motor was replaced and it worked for two washes then started same trouble again. Code says number 7. What does this mean?

It means you have a bad lid switch. The circuit board on the motor monitors the lid switch and if it doesn't detect an opening/closing of the lid within two wash cycles, it will disable the motor.
