My whirlpool washer fills up then it stops. I can move the timer to the spin cycle and it will spin.

With tub empty of all water, open control panel and unplug the pressure hose from the back of the temperature switch. Blow into the hose to make sure it's clear. Reconnect hose and try washer again. If it still won't work, replace the temperature switch. This is a temperature/load sense switch and controls the water inlet valves. It is a high failure item in this model washer.

I replaced the temperature switch this summer because it would not fill up all the way. When I put it on quick wash it will stop after filling up. I can then manually move the timer until it starts to agitate.
