newer kenmore (maybe 7 mo. old)...about a month ago we had some very low temperatures and the washer pump made some bad noise and didn't work so I replaced the pump. It had worked fine until now. Now the washer when started (in any cycle) will illuminate the sensing mode then it turns the motor for a short fraction of a second and stops...it usually tries again and stops and won't go through the wash cycle??

Any ideas as to what would make it stop turning? a sensor? frustrated as hell with this junk!! wish I would have bought some other brand now.

if it is any consolation I am having similar issue. sensing mode starts and then after 2 to 3 minutes the sensing alarm just continues uninterrupted until I unplug the washer.
