washer makes loud clicking noise & lights dim
Model Number: wjse4150b1ww Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
My washing machine clicks somewhat loudly and dims lights with each click, almost as if it is overworking or over amping. I has resently started smelling almost like burnt rubber (belt appears fine). Tonight stopped working altogether at first aggitation cycle. Last cycle of last wash did not spin dry the clothes in spin cycle.

Watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqeGv3B-3xw and if this is what your washer was sounding like the motor is bad. Also did it only do it on slow speed, high speed or both? Hope this helps!! Clothes Washer Repair Guide
