Agitator not moving. I took it out of the washer, but I can't separate the top part if the agitator from the base to check dog ears. Do, I need a special tool for that? Does this model even have dog ears?

GE agitators do not come apart. Check the agitator coupler. Remove bolt and pull coupler to check for stripped splines inside of it.

I replaced the coupler and it worked just fine for a month. Now it's not spinning again. Checked the coupler and it's fine. Any suggestions?
