The hot water enters the machine just fine. When you have the temp set to cold, the water starts coming out, but the water shuts off almost immediately. Any suggestions?:confused:

Sounds like the cold water solenoid is failing.

Try this. Reverse the connections on the water valve and set the washer for hot. If the same thing happens, replace the water valve assembly. Here is the part
