our washer was making a banging sound. when my husband removed the panels, he discovered the drum bearing is not spinning true. can he replace it and how?

The rear drum bearing is not a separately repairable item on these Frigidaire models. You have to replace the entire rear drum, which is prohibitively expensive, so a new machine is in order.
