To access the area for valve replacement, you need to start by removing the plastic bezel from around the dispenser, mounted on the top of the washer. Then, open the door and remove the screws from each side of the door opening. This will allow you to remove the entire front panel and set it aside. That will then expose the screws at the top of each side that secures the top down. Once those are removed, the valve is mounted at the back of the machine and is fully accessible.
