The washer won't spin out the water, the water empties fine but then won't go into the spin cycle with any kind of weight on the agitator. If I leave very minimal amount of clothes in there and move around the agitator leaving as little weight as possible on agitator is goes into the spin cycle just fine. Any ideas on what part I should start with? I wouldn't think it would be the switch since it seems to be a weight issue. Thanks

Agitator should spin with the basket. When in spin mode, the lower agitator should spin freely. If not, you have a gearcase problem, if it does you probably needs a new clutch but could be any number of things including sticking brakes, a worn drive block or gearcase problem. I would remove the cabinet, jump out the lid switch and check the clutch hub while in spin mode. If clutch hub is spinning, gearcase is ok. Remove the agitator and check the condition of the top of the drive block. Make sure the grooves in the block are intact as well as the tabs on the spin tube. Make sure tub nut is tight. If all is ok, pull the gearcase, grab the brake cam driver and rotate CCW. Brakes should release and basket should rotate without binding. If ok, I would replace the clutch. If basket is difficult to rotate, there may be clothing caught between the tubs. Get your clutch, if needed, from APP, don't buy the $8 piece of junk sold on amazon or e bay.
