I am trying to replace the tub seal on my GE stackable top-load washer. I have viewed several Youtube videos that show how to remove the tub on a GE and the transmission post I have looks very different from the ones in the videos. I have successfully removed the hub nut, which was a task in and of itself, but the tub does not just pull off of the post as it is shown in videos and on the washer's disassembly manual. I've attached a pic of the post on my washer. Please help!

I am not able to bring up your model, but normally these GE stackable models are Frigidaire made machines sold under the GE label.

Here is a link to what may be the service manual for your model. Hope this helps.
