Hello all, my Maytag stacked washer dryer combo is malfunctioning. Last week the washer stopped wringing clothes dry on the last spin cycle, I can also smell a burning electric/belt smell. The washer still works and it seems like its just the transmission belt not connecting properly to the aligator assembly. I see that the alligator is trying to spin but its just vibrating slightly as if it needs a little push to start it off. I checked the belts and they seem meaty enough not to bite. Please help any positive comments is appreciated.
