Washer runs ok til gets to spin cycle then just hums and won't spin.. Tried to reset motor by unplugging and clicking lid 6 times.. It worked great a month ago.. Now that wont work. Took front off unit and cleaned the clear plastic tube in left side.. The motor clunks when set in spin cycle but does not move.. Motor warm to touch... Pulleys are loose.. Belt looks good.. Any ideas?

If you are not getting an error code from the green flashing light this probably means that your motor/inverter has gone bad.

If you want to try replacing it you can buy from this site, and if that is not hte problem you can return the part.

Thanks so much for your reply... I do not see a green light or even a place where it should be... Are you sure this model has one? Is it in the area where the motor is?

Yes you have to look inside the motor it's about 2 inches inside it in the middle should have a green blinking light

Ok thanks.. Will go look again... Should it be blinking when in a certain cycle? Or just turned on?

I didn't see a light at all... Wondering if my husband will be able to tackle installing a new motor.. Is there a link with instructions ?
