I have a Frigidaire glgh1642fs0 stackable washer/dryer. Recently it stopped draining. I've tried replacing the pump, door latch, and speed control board with no success. The machine seems to go through the normal wash fine, but when it should go into the fast spin cycle it does not, because the water was never drained. I've checked all the hoses and filters (which were pretty clean anyway) and everything is fine. I've also drained the water manually, set the dial to the spin cycle and then it will spin fast. So there doesn't seem to be a problem with the spinning; it just won't drain.
At this point, I'm out of ideas. Can anyone suggest an alternative fix for this?
The only thing I can think of is that the original pump has been discontinued by the manufacturer and the new pump I replaced it requires 85W of power where the original used 50W. Could that be an issue?
