Washer shuts down and shows E2/F9 error code during final spin cycle. I've cleaned the pump and hoses, and can get one lode of laundry to run fine, but on the second load with only a few minutes left in the final spin it shuts down. Any suggestions?

Call in a service tech it's a communication problem between drain pump and main CCU and they can be a nightmare to trace for the average person. It could be a drain pump, could be your wiring harness, could be your main control board and to be honest i've dealt with these issues and have had to replace many parts for the Comm error codes in whirlpool products and they're no fun to figure out.

I've checked continuity between the pump and the CCU, and the pump motor resistance is 12.2 ohms. I also checked continuity at the pressure switch. Everything checks out fine. I think a new CCU is in my future, but I wanted to get a second opinion, in case I was missing something, before I spent the money.
