Model Number: thintwin LT5000xsw3 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
water was pouring out of what I found out is called a siphon & cap I replaced the old one with new one and still water is pouring out is there a filter or something that going between the siphon & cap somebody help me please

Here is a parts breakdown of your appliance: Model LT5000XSW3
I assumse you are talking about this: Part Details - WHIRLPOOL Siphon, part number: AP2912272 Usually it is a restriction in the hose beyond the syphon, I would pull off both of the hoses and make sure the are clean inside. Also where the hose hooks up on the oppisite end (tub I assume) make sure make sure the fitting it hooks up to is clean all the way through. Over time if build up covers part of the hole it could cause a problem.
