This washer sat in a heated cooled wash rm for 2 yrs, and prior to that it sat in a shed for about a yr, the spin bearing is now howling, my dad who has worked on Maytag for yrs said to junk it and get a new one, so I wanna know why its so hard to replace the bearing, I have tools and a brain and have done work on machines, just not this in depth. What parts would I need going in, I wanna refurbish this machine as much as possible while in it. Needs a snubber ring for sure.
