I have a front loader frigidaire that bangs when in the wash cycles, it is level and the tub seem to wobble alot when not in use. Is it the shock absorber or possibly the tub spring? It works fine the rest of the cycle thanks. ps how do I get at these areas.(front or back)

I have a fridgedaire frontload that did the same thing. It was the shocks, which there are 2. I also had the spring to break at a different time, when that happens the drum will drop with a loud noise and won't work after that. The spring is fixable, if you ever have to fix it do both. A few months after we fixed one spring the other one broke. The shocks don't seem to be a real big deal either. If you are handy at repairing.
