I have an old Maytag (A482 model, 2-belt, top-load) washer that won't drain. It will spin, seems to go through all its cycles fine. NOTE: one weird thing is that it doesn't seem to always 'stop' at the end, it wants to go onto the next wash cycle after it does it's final spin...

I have replaced the pump & belts, checked the hoses & tub for clogs, checked the siphon break (doesn't look plugged) and it will drain just a bit of water out, but not much...

Any ideas? Could it be the timer or some control unit? Motor? There aren't many parts in this thing, it's pretty simple...

Thanks!!
