If I set the washer to medium load, it will not start, If I set it to large or small load, it will.

When you say it won't start, do you mean it won't start filling, or it won't start agitating after filling to correct level? What is the serial number of your washer?

Nothing at all happens if medium load is selected. If I change to large or small load, it will start to fill and carry on just fine. As an experiment, while it was filling on the large load setting, I switched to medium load and the machine stopped filling; going back to either large or small load, it started filling again.

Serial #: 24198140GR

Thank you so much for responding.

Unplug the machine and open the controls panel. On the back of the water level switch, if it has individual wire terminals vice multi-plug, swap the pink and brown wires (terminal 1C and 2C). If it still will not start filling on medium setting, the switch is bad. If it does start to fill, you will need a multimeter to do some further tests.
