The water fill level on my Maytag LAT3500AAE does not seem to work properly. No mater what setting we put on the water level control dial, it seems to fill to near maximum. I cannot get any small or intermediate settings to work. Replaced water level control dial/switch, and still does not work properly.

Check the air chamber and tube that runs from the lower right side of the tub to the pressures switch, for gunk buildup. Also check for cracks, splits, kinks...etc. in the chamber and hose. Clean or replace if necessary.
