My front loader duet will not complete a cycle. It seems as if it gets out of balance, shuts itself off, and then I can't get it reset. But it's OFF BALANCE all the time now ... light load, heavy load, whatever load. I have it on a pedestal and NEVER move it. For it to all of a sudden become unbalanced is a mystery to me. Any ideas what to do? Typically I can dial it over to DRAIN/SPIN, shut the spin OFF, and then eventually I can get it to drain and then unlock.

However, I try to re-run on another cycle and it won't start -- it will make a bunch of clicking noises, then start the BEEP-BEEP-BEEPBEEP-BEEP-BEEPBEEP-BEEP-BEEPBEEP-BEEP-BEEPBEEP-BEEP-BEEPBEEP-BEEP-BEEPBEEP-BEEP-BEEP - the timer flashing the number in red - and NOTHING.

Any suggestions? I'm not sure what to do! Thanks ever so much for whatever suggestions you can offer.

Under the top or inside the lower service panel are tech notes that will show you how to put it in diagnostic mode.

However, based on your description of the problem it probably will not go into diagnostic mode, in which case I would try replacing the control unit.
