I have had this problem in the past. My washer will fill with water and then just stop.
Ibe had the lid switch replaced before. The mechanic who fixed the switch said
That if i continued to have the problem i could jist disconnect the switch.
How do i do this?

You can't just disconnect it, you would need to bypass it. We only advise this for testing purposes as the lid switch is a safety device that should not be permanently bypassed. What is the model number of your washer?
