machine shows a error code of e56. was told to replace motor speed control board and the motor. do i need to replace both. machine first would not spin on final spin. now machine will not do anything except click like it trying to do something.

These motors are very reliable, so it is likely the speed control board will fix the problem.

I would try replacing that, and if that does not fix things check the door lock assembly and the main control unit.

If you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it. Sorry not to have better advice but on these models sometimes the only way you can diagnose them is to just replace parts and see if that fixes things.
