1. I have a Frigidaire front loading washer (model LTF6000ES1) and it won't do the spin cycle. It does everything else fine. It agitates or tumbles the clothes both ways fine (so it appears the motor is working). However, the clothes are very wet so I think it does drain well. The error code is E47. I look it up in the manual, which said it could be the door switch/latch assembly or the drain pump. I follow the instruction and measure the resistance of the PTC on the door switch assembly and it reads around 1100 ohm (instead of 1500 ohm as indicated in the manual). I am not sure if the door switch is the problem or something else. Could it be the drain pump? How do you diagnose that? Could it be another problem? I look into the drain booth which attaches to the drain pump and I found few coins. What could be the problem? I want to know the correct problem in order to replace the right part Thanks.

Smithpd, Did you test the resistance at the latch assembly and the J2 and J3 connectors on the control board, You may have a loose connection, the 1100 ohms resistance is in the "low range" but the latch should operate. Coins and debris in the hoses and drain pump can reduce the drain flow. The washer has to drain 5 to 12 gallons of water per minute. If the hoses are clogged, or the impeller is damaged it will create an issue. Start the washer in a rinse cycle, when the control reaches the drain/spin and starts to drain, time the drain out, 1 minute or less, it's not a drain issue.
