Over time, I lost function of the timer being automatic going into the second rinse and then spin cycle. Then I lost cold water function. So I changed the timer (knob removal how to was learned on this forum after doing a google search) and the cold water now works, but still have no automatic second rinse and spin cycle. I have to maually have to set each cycle I want. This machine has a second rinse switch. Would changing this switch cure my problem?

Go ahead and try changing out the switch. If you buy from this site and that does not fix the problem you can return the part.

If you need more info please post a full model number so we can see exactly which Performa model you have.

Thanks and good luck.
