My washer gets to the final rinse and just continues to add water slowly. Will only move on to spin when I turn the dial.

Not clear on your symptoms. In rinse cycle, the washer should fill, agitate, drain and spin. At which point is the problem occurring?

Eric Hi Eric, When it gets to the last rinse cycle the water just trickles in. The first time I noticed it, it had been running for probably an hour and a half!!! I advanced the dial forward a little and it went into the spin cycle. Now that I know it's getting stuck in that spot I watch it and just advance it at the point. Someone said maybe the water pump but I was thinkin in might be the timer going bad. Just want to make sure before I spend the $100 for a new timer. I do have to say that I LOVE my Roper!!!! No fancy machine for me :-) Thanks for any help. Jeanne

So, it's going into the final spin/spray but only doing the spray? Sounds like a faulty timer to me. If you buy it from APP, you can return it if it doesn't fix the problem. Eric

Now off to fix my washer :-)
