I have a stack washer/dryer that I need to install a new lid switch on. It looks like the front panel will come off, however I have been unable to find the combination. I do not want to assert excessive force and damage the machine. does anyone know how to access this part?

The instructions are in the attached tech sheet (page 3). This laundry center has GE name on it but it was designed and made by Whirlpool. The price for the lid switch made by Whirlpool is much better than price for the same part sold by GE. - The GE lid switch Part number: WH12X955
