Washer was running. We heard a bang. The washer had thrown the ground fault breaker at the electrical outlet. Reset the breaker. We have power. When we press start, it lights up and the door locks. That's all it will do. A shock next to the water pump was broken. We replaced it. Pulled the water pump to check for obstructions. None found. Pulled some change out of the filter but nothing found in the pump. Not sure why won't fill with water. We tried to start in all different settings but machine won't start. Is this a control board issue?

This sounds very much like the control unit shorted out. Try replacing it. If you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it.
