When doing a load, its like the top half of the agitator does not push material down (under water) for a proper washing. looking at the diagram it would be under the fabricsoftner dispenser, within #3's casings it seems. not sure what the part is to ask for it. Txs Tina

With the washer off try to turn the top half of the agitator by hand. If it will turn both ways the agitator dogs are striped out. There are instructions on how to change these parts on this page Washer Agitator Repair Guide

applianceman, i did as you said. Ordered the parts, put them in and she works like new again. Thanks so very much. Many Props to you. You ROCK !
