Hello everyone,
I've used the other posts that dh1200s has contributed to, and a big thank you for all of the great info on the dc/uc code remedies.
My question is on the clutch assembly. After I took apart the clutch apart to inspect I found that the inner coil(?) has broken away from the white pin. I'm hoping that this may be the cause of my problems. However, I've searched this site and others looking for that part only and can't seem to find it. Does anyone know if it's available by itself? And if so what it's actually called. Or do I need to buy a whole new clutch assembly? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

The new clutch comes as an assembly only. If you need the correct part number, post the serial number of the washer.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Parts for Maytag FAV6800AWW Washer - AppliancePartsPros.com

They are different for different serial numbers. Are you sure you did order the correct part?

I called before I ordered it and they gave me the part number based on my serial number. It starts with 10. I believe the pt num they gave me was 12002211. I hope that's right
