whirlpool washer will not turn on.
Model Number: wfw8400twoo Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a washer that will not turn on. Nothing happens when I push the power buttton. It has never given a falult code. When I unplug and re plug in the ccu unit will click and the lights will quick flash only 1 time.

Check the touch-pad/LED assembly by selecting different cycles and changing the modifiers and options available. If the touch-pad/LED is not responding, replace it. There is a small chance for the CCU to be bad as well. You may want to order the touch-pad/LED assembly first. If you would order it from APP and it would not fix the problem then you can return it and order the CCU.

Unfortunately these are the only troubleshooting instructions provided by Whirlpool. Definitely not good but we have what we have.
