Maytag washer burning smell
Model Number: LA408 Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
Have an older Maytag top loading washer MODEL LA408 wife went into laundry room and saw blue smoke found that large belt had broken checked with belt off and everything appears to work ok, put belt on and turned to spin it started and then quit smelled something like hot wiring and it shut itself off minute later it started again, did this several times like it was cooling down and then starting
