Have 3 yo Bravos MCT.....problems from the beginning but this pertains to the bleach and softener reservoirs not draining after going through complete cycles.

Frequently they will still be full when the load is done and over time the softener liquid will become gel-like. I have run hot water through them to clean out, i have somewhat removed them (cannot seem to dislocate the tube from the reservoir) out of their pocket to clean, but the problem seems to persist

Thank you
Mark

On this model you have multiple electrically control valves which open up to divert water to the various reservoirs when called for. If one was a problem I would think it was the valve assembly, with two as a problem, not so sure.

Here is what you might try.

1. Use a meter to see if the bleach reservoir is getting power when it should. If it is, the problem is a clog or the valve assembly is bad. If it is not, the control unit is likely the issue, it is not sending power to open the valve when it should.

2. Go ahead and replace the valve assembly. If you buy the part from this site and it is not needed or does not fix the problem you can return it.

Thank you sidfink43....I will test those when i get a chance...thought it might be a valve not opening etc....you would think it is 10 yrs old, but that is not always the case anymore.

Thanks again,
Mark

Yeah, these a very good machines when they work, but they are not reliable and hard to repair and harder to diagnose.
