Maytag not spinning in cycle
Model Number: mvwc400xwo Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Maytag washer does not spin in reg cycle but works in drain and spin,lock lid flashes and then unlocks while spin light is still on and clothes are soaked . Any ideas?

Hello Steve,
The problem can be a bad lid latch or a bad control board. Perform the test #8 as described on page 18 of the attached tech sheet to figure out which part is bad. - The control board Part number: W10393490 - The lid latch Part number: W10404050 Gene.
