Water Temperature messed up
Model Number: MTW5800TWO Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Hot & Cold Temps have been working more several years but suddenly Cold becomes scalding hot and Hot is Cold, etc.

Need to replace the ATC switch. Early models were incorrectly programmed and would electrically reverse the power to the water valve coils if the incoming cold water was too warm. It assumes that the supply hoses are reversed. The early switches were found to be 15° in error in their programming. Ain't technology great
