I have a Frigidaire gallery series Front load washing machine that will not run. Error code indicates a a communication error. I recently replaced the door latch assembly because of an E41 error code. In checking the wire harness' I discovered the gray wire on the harness from the motor to the control board was pinched and stresed in a spot. I assume this could be the problem. Do I replace the entire harness or can I just fix the faulty wire?
Can I test to make sure it is working properly?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would splice in a new wire, check the two ends for continuity and see if that fixes things.
