Washer Repair

Washer will not dispense fabric softener or bleach, soap works fine. Replaced dispenser thinking there was something broken inside, as the little motor works and seems to hit all 4 positions shown on the dispenser.
Any ideas?

I am not sure which part you replaced. That are valves which open up to allow the water entering the machine to go through the various troughs. If they are not they could be the problem, but more likely it is the control unit which is supposed to tell them to open and is not doing so.

If you want to and understand the process you could use a jumper wire to put current to the valves to see if they open.

Found the problem in the inlet valve filling too slow. Replaced the valve and problem solved.
