Frequently finds water pooled in bottom of clothes basket before use. Basket spins properly and cycles properly leaving no water when clothes are removed but puddling is found after washer sits unused for a time. Water appears to be leaking via the dispenser drawer.

Just for Information...reference my previous post...the problem turned out to be a faulty valve where the water initially enters the washer (where the hoses screw onto the back). There is an electric valve that opens and closes as necessary and, if dirt, rust or sand interferes with the complete closing of that valve, it allows water to leak into the tub. Biggest problem is that it's all self contained so you can't take it apart and clean it. New part was $85 and readily available at local parts dealer. Best part is that the part as initially installed by factory has 90 day warranty...part that I purchased has lifetime warranty. Too bad my wife probably won't keep the washer long enough to make it worth my while since it's already 8-9 years old.
