front loader will not spin.

Model Number: GWT445RGSO Brand: Gibson Age: 5 - 10 years

This problem of not spining has recently occured. My step son thought he fixed the problem by cleaning off terminals to the motor, it is still occuring. He also noticed sparking from motor. What should be done?

Well the motor should not be sparking, so that is probably the problem. Given the age of the machine and the cost you may want to consider just replacing it.
