My son started his laundry today and the washing machine filled but that was it. I got home took clothes all out and drained it, now it wont even fill with water. Acts like it has no power. He had a large load in it and I thought that maybe the problem but when I emptied it now it wont even fill or come on.:confused::(

Make sure you have power at the receptacle, may have tripped the panel breaker. This can be caused by a bad lid switch. Open the control panel, unplug the lid switch and jump the black and red wires together. If it won't fill after doing this, check for a fuse in the line cord somewhere in the control panel as some models have a 10 amp in-line fuse. If it does fill with the jumper, you must jump the black to yellow in addition to red to make the motor work for temporary operation til you get a lid switch. The lid switch has a fuse link that will blow if the switch is bad. The switch must be replaced. Eric

Eric, Thank you I will try this when I get home. Unfortunately, when I was working on it, I broke the little plastic limit switch trigger on the lid... so I know I have to replace that. I will try and see if it fills though by doing what you suggested... will keep you posted.
